Social Media Marketing Manager
BoardVantage is the leading vendor of board collaboration tools for the world’s largest companies. Our product has served the secure collaboration needs and requirements of the most discerning users — Fortune 100 board of directors and executive teams. We are now expanding our product portfolio with the launch of a new product for project teams and department units. Our product suite combines the security and scalability requirements of enterprises with new Web 2.0 styled social media tools and UI.
Opportunity
BoardVantage is seeking an Internet and Social Media Marketing Manager to assist and expand our social media and SEO & SEM marketing efforts. This is a hands-on marketing position.
If you are interested in social media marketing, Web 2.0 collaboration software, and spend a lot of time online, this is a great opportunity. This is an entry level position which requires a working knowledge of SEO and social media marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Help grow our branded social communities (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other networks). Increase adoption, engagement and satisfaction
- Hands on optimization — improving site structure, page construction, keyword lists and SEO copywriting
- Perform keyword research, mapping and develop new keyword lists
- Develop and execute extensive link building campaigns
- Participate in relevant forums & community web sites
- Manage all day-to-day aspects of multiple social marketing campaigns including posting relevant and informational links, responding to comments, interacting with our users and running promotions
- Help with planning and participation at trade show events and managing social media campaigns around the events
- Design and manage email campaigns
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2-4 years experience in search engine optimization and social media marketing
- Highly Internet savvy and experienced with search engines and social media platforms. Likes to maintain relationships, research, read news, and engage online
- Great communication skills — both written and verbal
- Exceptionally well organized and able to manage multiple projects
- Ambitious, passionate, smart and hard working, and a self starter
- Organized, detail-oriented and able to set and meet realistic deadlines
- Can spend long hours focused on a task with little supervision and outside input
- Strong ability to write creatively in a clear, consistent voice. Must have a firm grasp of the English language, spelling and punctuation
- Solid analytical skills and expertise using MS Office — PowerPoint, Excel and Word are a must
- Good sense of humor, positive and easy-going attitude and a high level of integrity
